Family-Owned Business Unlocking Value in Communities

After managing a non-profit group home for abused children who were displaced from their homes in the Greater Boston Area, Jerry and Beth Siragusa started a pre-school and daycare in Derry, NH in 1982 that would later become a staple in the Derry community. For 38 years, The Circle of Friends School has been trusted by the community to provide pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and child care to youths. In addition to education, the Siragusas found other opportunities in real estate and hospitality. What started as refurbishing and expanding the oldest house in Derry turned into redeveloping a school, renovating historic colonial homes, and constructing luxury homes in the NH Lakes Region and the coast of Southern Maine. Additionally, they hosted large school graduations, social gatherings, weddings, and banquets. Drawing inspiration from his father’s restaurants (The Amalfi, The Villa, and DuPlains) located in the Greater Boston Area, Jerry started Siragusa’s Homemade Specialties and cooked for many of these events and provided takeout meals to parents in their school. The Siragusa Group continues to seek new opportunities to serve and create value for the community.
