Preserving History

The site is home to the oldest house in Derry which is almost 300 years old. The Gregg family, one of the original settlers of Nutfield in 1719, built the main house that still stands today.

The site is believed to be where the first white potato in North America was planted. The land is part of Nutfield's original Common Field where the settlement harvested crops for the community.
